About the Author

My name is Graciela (Gracie) Rangel.  I am a Christian published author of two books.  I have began a series.  My main character is a basilisk lizard, called the JESUS LIZARD who lives in South and Central American rain forests.  My first book is based on the basilisk lizard, Anthony, who is called by Haley, the mean little duck, that Jesus Lizard.   Anthony hears her and wants to know who Jesus is.  No one seems to know, so Anthony goes on a journey, all by himself to find out who in the world can tell him who Jesus is.  He meets lots of other characters who tell stories about others in the old and new testament.  For example, he meets Daniel, the lion who teaches Anthony to pray, just as Daniel must have prayed when he was thrown in the den of lion, He meets Mary, the gentle filly who tells Anthony about Jesus birth, and on.  

I have two published books with my publisher, Llumina Publishing, and my books, a series of 5 with copyright with US Congress I am writing my 3rd book, Anthony's Journey to the Ark, Ask the Animals, they will teach you, Job 12-7, How they got together and march to the ark, the journey on the ark, only two of their kind, and knowing that things would never be the same again.
